Yarn + Oil Pastel Mixed Media Art

Join us for an art workshop at the West New Brighton Teen Center!! Teens will create mixed-media artwork using yarn and oil pastels. Use oil pastels to create a background and then glue down strands of yarn as if you’re “drawing” with yarn. Combining these different kinds of materials will create a fun tactile piece of artwork as unique as the artist making it. This free program will take place indoors in the Teen Center and is for ages 12-18 years old.
