Winter Birding for Beginners
Saturday, January 28; 1:00-2:30PM
People do not usually think of the winter as a time to be watching birds, but it is actually one of the best – and easiest – times to start your “career” in bird watching! From backyards to open ponds and shorelines, we have many avian visitors, regardless of the weather. Living in the Hampton Bays area, we are practically Bird Central for seeing the Birds of Winter! Join Eileen Schwinn, past president and current vice-president and field trip leader for Eastern Long Island Audubon Society, and explore the things you need to know, and where to find the birds.
