Great Neck Library is having a lecture, “Tips for Successful Aging in Place, presented by Gail Portee, Community Ambassador”. It will be held on Monday, March 10, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the Great Neck Library Station Branch, 26 Great Neck Road, 2nd Level, Great Neck, NY 11021.
Aging in place is the practice of staying in your own home, as you grow older, and it’s becoming more and more popular. But it’s not always easy to adapt your living space to meet your changing needs. There are plenty of tips that can help you stay safe, healthy, and happy in your own home by staying proactive. You can enjoy a happy and healthy life in your own home well into your golden years.
Gail Portee is a Community Ambassador of the Family & Children’s Association. FCA is a non-sectarian, not-for-profit organization that provides help and hope to Long Island’s most vulnerable families, children, seniors, individuals, and communities.
