The Mighty String Demons present Music That Goes BUMP in the Night
Young Staten Island violinists, The Mighty String Demons, whose members are currently aged 5 to 17, will present a fun and spooky Halloween concert. They will play musical selections that will invoke visions of witches on broomsticks, phantoms, ghosts and tarantulas. There will even be a monster wedding. Come with a Halloween joke to tell and wear a costume. Guest musicians will be Wenyi Lo on piano and Kazuo Nakamura on concert bass. The group is under the direction of Sanchie Bobrow. Admission is free with museum admission.
This concert is made possible (in part) by an Encore Grant from Staten Island Arts, with public funding from the New York State Council on the Arts.
