Tagong Yaman (Hidden Treasures)

Tagong Yaman (Hidden Treasures) is a conceptual dance-theater piece that challenges the cultural amnesia many Filipinos go through because of colonization and assimilation. During the immersive performances, participants will engage in Filipino cultural activities, witness experimental and indigenous dance, and have time for reflection with the artists and one another.

A visual art installation, featuring video projection, paper sculpture, and paintings drawing from traditional Filipino culture and personal memory, will be open for view both during the performances and in the week after.
