Established in 2011 in response to ABC No Rio’s takeover of Punk Island – the chaotic brainchild of ex squatter Slug, who christened the series in 2008 – Puke Island recaptures the spirit of the original festival, remaining free of ideological and political agendas, censorship and corporate sponsorship. Bands will be Dark Saga, Beyond Hell, Fleshmass, Smokeborn Blasphemy and Iconicide.
