Owl Prowl at Blue Heron Park

Blue Heron Park is a freshwater wetlands system, home to a wide variety of wildlife. Join with Protectors president, Cliff Hagen, as he explores the dark corners of the park at night in search of nocturnal neighbors. Learn the calls and characteristics of Staten Island owls and share the time afield with like-minded nature enthusiasts. Participants meet at the Blue Heron Park Nature Center, 222 Poillon Ave., located halfway between Hylan Boulevard and Amboy Road along Poillon Ave. Dress appropriate for the weather. For more information call Cliff Hagen at 718-313-8591 or e-mail him at [email protected].
