Movies Under the Stars: The Little Mermaid

Grab a blanket and come enjoy a movie in a neighborhood park or playground! This summer, NYC Parks and The Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment will host family-friendly movie showings across the five boroughs.

The Little Mermaid is a 2023 American musical romantic fantasy film about Ariel, a princess and the youngest daughter of King Triton, ruler of the merpeople of Atlantica who is fascinated with the human world despite never having seen it, as Triton forbids all merfolk from surfacing there after Ariel’s mother was killed by a human.
