Dia de Los Muertos Storytime + Craft

A special Día de los Muertos storytime, perfect for kids and families! The event will begin by reading a
beautifully illustrated book that introduces the traditions and meaning behind this vibrant Mexican holiday, celebrating
the lives of loved ones who have passed. After the story, children can get creative with a fun skull craft, decorating
colorful calaveras (skulls) using markers, stickers, rhinestones, and glitter. It’s a wonderful way to learn about culture,
remembrance, and artistic expression—all while having fun together at the library!
