Day of Champions at the Ferry Hawks Stadium

Mark your calendars for a day of excitement, camaraderie, and giving back! WABC Radio is partnering with Shriners Children’s for an exciting Day of Champions. Gates open at 9:30am.  This fun-filled event will feature a thrilling softball game between New York’s finest and bravest — the NYPD and FDNY. Yankees legend John Sterling will provide live play-by-play commentary, promising a day of action and entertainment for everyone. The event isn’t just about the game; it’s about supporting a greater cause. Proceeds from the day will go toward Shriners Children’s, dedicated to providing hope and healing for children with complex conditions, regardless of the families’ ability to pay or insurance status.

In addition to the big game, the day will be packed with exciting pre-game activities, including a Little League Pre-Game, Meet and Greet opportunities with guest athletes including Mets all-time great Dwight Gooden and 77WABC personalities, a Fastest Pitch Contest, and Home Run Derby Throughout the day, attendees can also participate in a Sports Memorabilia Silent Auction and enjoy the festive atmosphere with food and fun.
