Children’s Grief Awareness Day Candle-Lighting Ceremony

Emma’s Place commemorates Children’s Grief Awareness Day because 1 in 12 children lose a parent or sibling by the age of 18. As it is the start of the holiday season, this event allows participants to reach out and support a grieving child. Purchase a candle and join Emma’s Place and the Staten Island community for the annual candle lighting ceremony to honor loved ones who have passed. Light refreshments will be served, plus children’s activities.
