Children's Craft: Black History Month Expressionist Art
This will be an in-person program.
Please join the West New Brighton Library on Monday, Feburary 6, 2023 at 3:15 pm for an hour of crafting.
Using abstract shapes and patterns from flowers and trees around her, Alma Thomas is one of the most talented Black artists in the 1960s. In celebration of Black History and Ms. Thomas’s expressionist art, we will craft our own expressionist work of art using vibrant pieces of torn paper, card stock, and glue.
All children ages 5-12 years old are welcome.
