USA, the governing body of chrysanthemum shows in America, is providing $100 in prize money for the best Novice and best Youth entries that receive a Blue Ribbon or higher award.  This prize will be sent as a check from the National Chrysanthemum Society.  These cash prizes are a result of a grant from the James Bowersox Trust which was established to preserve and promote chrysanthemum culture in the United States.  Awards will be given based on the NCS rules of competition as awarded by the judges.

The show will open to the public for viewing, Saturday, October 28, from 12:00 pm to the 5:00 PM, and Sunday, October 29, from 9:00 am – 3:45pm.  The awards presentation will begin at 3:45 pm and breakdown immediately thereafter.  Some blooms will be available to the public for a small donation to the Long Island Chrysanthemum Society, Inc.
